Who we are
Life OS is operated by Javier Hernandez ("we", "us"), a sole proprietor trading as Life OS. Javier Hernandez is the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: support@calm-life-builder.lovable.app.
What we collect
- Account data — email address, hashed password credentials, display name, and avatar you choose to provide.
- Product content — tasks, goals, habits, planner entries, finance entries, health logs, notes, recipes, and other records you create.
- Usage data — device/browser information, IP address, and basic event logs for security and product improvement.
- Support messages — content of any emails or messages you send us.
Payment information (card details, billing address) is collected directly by Paddle as our merchant of record — we never receive or store your full card number.
How we use it & legal basis
- Providing and operating the service you signed up for — performance of a contract.
- Security, fraud prevention, and enforcing our Terms — legitimate interests.
- Sending transactional emails (account, billing, service updates) — performance of a contract.
- Product analytics and improvement — legitimate interests.
- Marketing emails (only if you opt in) — consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Complying with legal obligations (tax, accounting, lawful requests) — legal obligation.
AI features send a minimal summary of the relevant records (tasks, habits, goals) to our AI provider so the assistant can generate a response. We never sell your personal data.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with the following categories of recipients, under contract, and only as needed:
- Paddle.com Market Ltd — our merchant of record. Paddle is the seller of record for all orders, and independently processes your payment data, billing address, tax residency, invoices, chargebacks, and refund handling. See Paddle's privacy notice.
- Cloud hosting & database providers — to host the application and store your data securely.
- AI providers — to power in-app AI features, on a per-request basis with the minimum context needed.
- Email/notification providers — to deliver transactional email.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) and authorities, where required by law.
Where it lives & security
Data is stored in a managed Postgres database protected by row-level security so only you can read or modify your rows. Passwords are hashed by our auth provider. Data may be processed in the United States and the European Union; where transfers occur out of your region, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Account & product content — retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete the data within 30 days, except items we're legally required to keep.
- Billing records — retained by us and by Paddle for up to 7 years to meet tax and accounting obligations.
- Support messages — up to 2 years after the last interaction.
- Security logs — up to 12 months.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including the UK/EEA under GDPR and California under CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise a right, email support@calm-life-builder.lovable.app; we respond within one month.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Deletion & contact
You can delete all of your app data at any time from Settings → Delete account. For any privacy question or to remove your auth record, email support@calm-life-builder.lovable.app.
